Q:  How early should I arrive for my treatment?

Please arrive about 15 minutes prior to treatment.

Q:  Will I have to fill out a questionnaire?

We do have an information sheet for you to complete which gives your therapist an overall idea of your current health conditions.  This is done prior to your first scheduled appointment, is strictly confidential and all questions should be answered honestly.

Q:  What should I know about health concerns?

Please consult your physician before visiting any spa if you have any concerns. You also need to understand that massage or bodywork is not a substitute for medical examination, diagnosis or treatment.

Pregnancy:  Avoiding treatments using deep pressure is a good idea.  We have a cushion specifically designed to provide comfort for our “mothers-to-be”.  Just inform the staff when making your appointment.

Q:  Do I have to disrobe entirely for spa treatments?

That is entirely up to your comfort level; keep in mind our staff is trained to appropriately drape you during treatment for privacy. Please note that you will receive a more thorough treatment if you are completely undressed.

Q:  Can I ask my therapist to make adjustments?

Please do!  This is your treatment and we want you to be satisfied.  Communicate with your therapist on room temperature, technique, preferences on pressure; your feedback is welcome!

Q:  What can I do to get the greatest benefit from my session?

Suggestions include arriving about 15 minutes prior to your appointment time.  A late arrival will determine the length of your treatment time and full price will be charged.  Your treatment will end as scheduled so the next guest may begin on time.

If you find yourself holding your breath, exhale.  Exhaling releases tension.  When your therapist is working or stretching a muscle, exhaling will help you to relax more easily.  Some clients like to chat during treatments, some don’t, and it is entirely up to you.  Let your therapist know if you have a preference.

Q:  How will I feel after a treatment?

Everyone has different experiences relating to their treatments.  You may find yourself very relaxed, tired, light-headed or even energized.  Take time to feel the effects before getting dressed.  Drinking WATER is extremely important to hydrate and replenish your body while it flushes toxins and accumulated waste from your body.

Q:  Do I tip my therapist?

This is completely up to you.  Some people do and others do not.  Do what you feel comfortable with and do not feel it is necessary.

Q:  Are appointments required or do you take walk-ins?

We are a busy spa and walk-ins cannot always be accommodated on the spot.  Appointments are recommended to assure that you receive the treatment of your choice when you want.

Q:  What if I have to cancel my appointment?

We ask that you give 24 hour notice to avoid cancellation fees.

Q:  Do you take credit cards?  Offer Gift Certificates?

Yes!  We take Visa and MasterCard and can do Gift Certificates for specific treatments or $ amounts.
